Of Reunions...

Julie came to see me! After TWO years! yay yay yay. I am yet living

Hello once more all my faithful followers (ummmm, what? you might be saying, not blaming you). It is April's Fools, and I have been squeezing my brain mercilessly to conjure up something clever, but alas, nothing comes. The Story Of Greedy And Pok-Pok

Yes well, we have two new pets, their names are Greedy and Pok-Pok...and, well, they're chickens. Or better yet, we <span style="font-style: italic;">had </span>two new pets, until they escaped from rehab this morning, a.k.a. our empty swiming pool. But we're not worried, Greedy and Pok-Pok are stuipid, they'll come back. They've done it before, like the time I chaught them in the house and beat the cacca out of them (I mean literally), they still came back.<br />You see, Greedy and Pok-Pok seem to be wild chickens.<br />We don't know that for sure, but they have been invading our garden for the past months and apparently the whole neighborhood too. Harahumph!<br />So yeseterday morning, I walk into the kitchen and Eman's like, "We chaught the chickens we chaught the chickens!"<br />I was like "whatever", till Jordan told me the same thing, and I saw Greedy and Pok-Pok in a box right there in the kitchen. Oh yay! Now we have chickens and cats!<br />They were christend by Eman a few hours later, who seems to have taken onto himself the role of Godfather. Greedy is short and fat, Pok-Pok is tall and skinny and like's jumping (if you go on Mishu's blog, we have viedo footage). we keept them in the box all day and feed them a few crusts of bread until throwing them in the pool for bedtime and exercise.<br />And well, this morning they were gone.<br />But they'll be back.<br />Greedy is always hungry.<br />P.S. True story.

Absolutely brilliant piece of work, I couldn't stop laughing....here goes. (no, as much as I would wish it, I didn't write this)<br /><br />Most prominent Bible characters had pretty crazy lives; a day in the life of, say, one of the twelve disciples, was probably far more exciting than a day in mine - yet I'm the one blogging on my personal journal about what I ate for breakfast or what time I went to bed. Can you imagine Peter's blog if he'd been able to keep one? Free Night

Los Belones took on a whole different aspect to us as we strolled around it at 12 in the night after having beer and Absnthe. We meet some geeky Spanish youngsters who thought we were so cool because we were foreigners and dicied to follow us wherever we went. Eventually we managed to escape them. Yep. It was grand.

Banana Leaf Wood

It came to me during lunch. The brilliant idea that will make me rich.<br />It all started when my daddy decides to make me try and figure out from what wood our little fish-shaped hot pad is made. Of course, being me, I said "Banana wood!" And of course it turns out to be bamboo wood.<br />But no matter.<br />What really does matter is that our little fishy all of a sudden became my shinning beacon of inspiration as it aided me in cooking up my genius plan. So everyone prepare for.....(drumroll)....<br />BANANA LEAF WOOD!!!!!<br />It actually makes sense, you know. If people can take wood shavings and press them back together to make "wood" and then sell them to you as kitchens, why can't I do that with banana leafs? I'll take the yellow ones-so they look more like wood and I don't damage the tree-press them, shape them, and there you have it! Plus, I'm accomplishing a great environmental endeavor over here. Can't you just see the newspaper headlines?<br />"STUPENDOUS BANANA LEAF WOOD STOPS DEFORESTATION" etc. etc.<br />See, I told you so.
